I downloaded Wwise from here and it says its a virus.

Just wanna confirm this isn't the case, I would like to use it but I would prefer to not get a virus on my PC if so.

There're no viruses, it includes different tools for extracting, each one is a separate project.
Which one file exactly is suspected? It's a folder with different files, it's not 1 installer that's a virus.
Check that suspicious file on online virus checkers, virustotal for example.

Also you can investigate the bat script, and see what tools it uses and search for them on github/internet if you want to run them manually, if you want more control and be sure you know what you're executing.
