The include directory in the build folder tries to include a dependency file.

When I try to build the library with mingw the header in the build directory still holds references to the internal libraries. I would like to know if this is intentional and how i should fix it.

Can you be more specific? Do you mean the files in the 'include' directory that include files in the source directory?
