There are definitely better and more customizable sliders that can handle modern accessibility requirements. That's why swiper was brought in.

Well, I still use it and was shocked that it just got removed without any notice and release notes. I'm sad you don't even publish release notes with a proper GitHub Release.

Dropping a feature MUST happen in a major release! Doing that in a minor release is an absolute no go!

The proper way would be to add it again and then remove in v14.

I'm sorry that my changes caused you problems. The explanation for my lack of documentation is simple: no time. I can't manage to take care of four/five sliders with hundreds of parameters each, a complete code restructuring, my other free extensions, and my day-to-day business.
In addition, the OWL Slider is of no significance to me. Like all other freely available extensions, this product is a very subjective one for me personally. It does not undergo quality control or receive much feedback, except when there are problems.
Feel free to contribute an OWL Factory class. I will accept patch requests if I have the time.

Nope, there are no "usefull" alternatives for the owl. And no significance to you, does not mean, that others would not need it. :)

Can you explain why not? Owl is dead since multiple years.
The extension will no longer be able to provide any additional features for this.
I therefore recommend the new Swiper slider.

Even though Owl is not maintained, that doesn't mean it doesn't work anymore. Nobody cares about new features but several people would still like to use it. We would really appreciate it if you would bring it back!
