There are two scripts:

• plos_das - given a doi this script fetches the XML and then extracts the 'data availability' statement in the in metadata of the paper
• plos_gitLinks - given a doi this script parses the full-text XML and extracts any github or gitlab link, and its surrounding sentence

There are three datasets

• plos_das - output of above script
• plos_gitLinks - output of above script
• plos_dois.txt - list of 40 PLoS open-hardware collection
