[Spider-Man 2001] game crashes or at least loose keyboard and mouse after Alt+Tab

Hello,

on Linux with Wine, this game crashes or at leat looses keyboard and mouse after Alt+Tab.
I limited fps to 29 fps because this game have issues at higher framerate.

Log files

Please attach Proton or Wine logs as a text file:

• Have DXVK_LOG_LEVEL set to debug.
• When using Proton, set the Steam launch options for your game to PROTON_LOG=1 %command% and attach the corresponding steam-xxxxx.log file in your home directory.
• When using regular Wine, use wine game.exe > game.log 2>&1 and attach the resulting game.log file.
• On Windows, log files will usually appear next to the games exe or in its base folder.
• In case of huge log files, which aren't unexpected, please archive the log file first, upload it and share the download link.

Crashing on alt+tab is sadly expected in some situations, and there's not much I can do about it. Losing input, however, is more likely an issue with the compositor than it is with whatever we/WineD3D are doing.

P.S.: I'll add a built-in config to limit the frame rate, thanks for mentioning it.

Same issue with 1.5: game closed after alt+tab
Are you sure D7VK can not help old games to ignore ALT+TAB? Like dgVoodoo2 or DxWnd?

I have the game now and in my environment I am unable to Alt+Tab, the game simply keeps focus. If your compositor decides to ignore whatever the game is requesting (or better said not allowing), there's nothing we can do about it, I'm afraid.

P.S.: d7vk/dxvk isn't DxWnd or dgVoodoo2, it simply handles the D3D part, not window messaging or input handling.
