MathBlitz is designed to be a "local-first" experience.

The App allows you to enter a name (e.g., "Hero") for the purpose of local leaderboards and personalized greetings. This name is stored exclusively on your device.
The App uses local storage (localStorage) on your device to save:

- High scores.
- App settings (sound, dark mode, etc.).
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.
The App is built using the Capacitor framework. While the framework itself facilitates the containerization of the web app, MathBlitz does not integrate with third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), advertising networks, or cloud storage providers.
MathBlitz is an educational math game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally on the user's device, we do not have access to any identifying information about our users, regardless of age.
Because all of your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using standard device security features (passcodes, biometric locks) to protect your information.
