pixelated shadows in props

when a prop is casting a shadow onto another prop it looks really low quality

i tried tweaking the settings and it doesnt change and deactivating the performance mod does not affect at all.
any help would be aprecciated.

This is caused by a gmod bug, you should be able to work around itchy raising the shadow resolution quality in the settings
