How to type j or k in INSERT mode?

Excuse me if this is a dumb question. But how do I type j or k in INSERT mode?

PS. I just started to use this extension. Thank you for developing. I am not used to modal editor but I want to try it out and see if it can help me.

I open another issue because my question doesn't involve Chinese input method.

I resolved the issue for myself by changing to double backtick ``, because I never want to insert that character. I think the program should insert a 'j' when you type 'j' and undo that insert if you type the second character and switch back to normal mode.
