Can I write a script that can automatically facing the fully ripened, harvest-ready wheat that most close to player?

yes, use player.enumerateNearbyBlocks, and then use block coordinates to check if it is wheat, and if it is has tag age=7
and player.lookAt

I am using latest version of cheatutils on minecraft 1.21.4 fabric, and I can't find this command.

I tried this code as an alternative, but it failed.

I also wrote another code, which not work so well in 1.21.5, it's not targeting the nearest crops.

Only wheat should have age=7, other crops have lower maximum age

Just look with F3, on the right side it should show you target block tags
