This is a great find. Building off this I found the .wadl file via google search which gave definitions for the endpoints and parameters. I tested a few random ones with data and they seem to work (for example: https://api-web.nhle.com/v1/edge/goalie-comparison/8480382/now), but haven't tested them all yet for validity. I will try to map them out this week. I could not find anywhere on the site where these are called, since the edge data is loaded via web sockets.

I quickly parsed them out into this wiki page on my repo.

Hey, I need some help:
I'm working on my own xG model, and I want to incorporate average shot speed for that season and game-type as one of the new predictor variables. When attempting to access this data, obviously, I thought edge/skater-shot-speed-detail works. It does work, but it only works for the 2024-25 season (both game-types work: 2 (regular season), 3 (playoffs)). If I go to the actual NHL EDGE website, you can clearly see that the data exists for past seasons as well (just select a random player and change the season), all the way back to 2021-22.

Example:

• https://api-web.nhle.com/v1/edge/skater-shot-speed-detail/8477492/20242025/2 properly returns shot-speed-details (as well as top 10 hardest shots).
• https://api-web.nhle.com/v1/edge/skater-shot-speed-detail/8477492/20232024/2 only returns top 10 hardest shots.

I'm wondering if I'm missing a query, or that I am not looking at the right endpoint in the first place. Please let me know if you find anything.

Edit: This was just a temporary problem. It seems to be fixed now.
