docker container vs docker image

Hi, why are you calling this repository containers while you are actually providing images?

If I understand correctly, a docker container is a running instance of a docker image. I notice similar confusion with Container registry on gitlab.com.

I am probably missing something, but thought I'll ask to clear it up for myself once and for all 👍
