Optimize memory use for rectangular crops and masks

As discussed in a related issue, memory requirements might be reduced when the input stack has a rectangular crop selection. Ideally you could extend this optimization also to complex input masks by processing data only in the envelope rectangle.

One uselful feature might be to predict the required memory and give user feedback prior to running the plugin.
