Theme not properly applied until window is reloaded

Here are my settings:

Switching from one to the other only partially works until I reload the window. Once the window is reloaded all is well. As you can see in my settings the UI and the Syntax should both be a light theme in this case, but it fails to change the syntax.

Thanks! Let me know if I can provide any further debugging info. It's so nice being able to quickly switch when I'm working in the dark or in the light :)
