Wiki.amule.org is unavailable

Hello:

I am have the wiki.amule.org website to return a 503 Http status code. From time to time it loads properly. The main page looks formatted but the individual pages are unthemed.

gono was last active 03/2021 afaik he was in charge. The backend of the forums also has expired certs. otoh someone seems to pay for the domain.

Seems @gonosztopi is inactive, I sent email in the past with no answer, maybe we need to do new releases without him (the latest release was 5 years ago, in 2021)

For new releases my rights should be enough.

I just don't have the deep knowledge of the code to judge about good changes. And without support for a recent wx, we don't need to think about a new release anyways.

I see right now there is not control of the Wiki. Then I think the best approach would be to try to incorporate the knowledge of the wiki into this repository.

Hi @Vollstrecker, I've put together a PR that addresses exactly this.

#438 fixes all build errors against wxWidgets 3.x (tested on 3.2.4 and 3.2.8, gcc 13/15, Ubuntu 24.04 and 25.10, including GUI verification on GTK3). The changes are minimal: only 6 small fixes were needed, as wx3 maintains strong backwards compatibility with wx2.8. Happy to adjust anything based on your feedback.
