Rendering partials fails for jade

The rendering happens asynchronously, so the check for rendering results happens before the actual rendering gets returned, thus throwing an exception. Presumably this happens for other rendering engines as well.

It looks like it was fixed in a later version of consolidate. I'll open a PR when I get a chance.
