Story
As a developer, I would like a demo kit for subscriptions, so that I can learn how to use PayPal's hosted subscriptions platform to manage my subscriptions and payments.
Details
This will replicate the Classic Recurring Payments demo kit: express-checkout-recurring-payments.
The slug for the new kit will be: paypal-checkout-subscriptions
This demo kit will provide the flow for creating a subscription profile that PayPal hosts, where they trigger the future payments, reminders, etc.
This is different from "billing agreements" where we create the agreement and then we trigger future payments ourselves.
This assumes we have PayPal's new Subscriptions API's integrated into our REST class. I'm not entirely sure if we did that yet or not..??
I know PayPal is going to be releasing a new version of Subscriptions soon, and we already talked with PayPal about getting early access to this stuff.
Reminder to myself - email thread with PayPal has subject line: Dev Champion intro for new billing solution pilot
