The commit activity in this repository seems to have dropped off noticeably over the past few months:
I completely understand that priorities may have shifted, and of course, no one owes the community anything regarding this project. SST has been an incredible tool that’s made AWS development far more approachable.
Still, it might be helpful to clarify the current status. For example, whether SST is now in a stable maintenance phase, or if active development is expected to resume later.
Additionally, there are a few critical issues and PRs that appear to be unaddressed for some time, for example:
If the core team is busy, perhaps consider adding a few trusted contributors to help triage issues and review PRs, or even establishing a lightweight OSS maintenance structure. As the alternative could lead to the tool falling behind.
Thank you for all the work that’s gone into SST so far. It’s been an incredibly valuable tool for many of us. 💙
