I'm planning to attend this year's Journées de la SF2A (en: Days of the French Society of Astronomy and Astrophysics).
I'm planning to present a poster advertising the open aspect of Astropy and its affiliated projects, as in open for contributions. The goal of this presentation would ideally be to help a couple new contributors get started on reporting and fixing bugs they might already know about but haven't discussed yet.
The conference takes place in my hometown. I request funding for registration fees + printing.
