Slice 11 / Phase 2 (v2): /about page — bio, photo, contact, public links #21

Description

@tkowalczyk

Parent PRD

#12

What to build

Static composition — no schema, no collection, no dependency on Phase 1. Parallel-able with #A.

/about contains:

  • A 1–2 paragraph origin story (project provenance)
  • Author bio with real name, real photo, and credentials relevant to the project's credibility
  • Partnership-inquiry contact link (same address as the homepage footer)
  • Public links: GitHub, X, LinkedIn

Aesthetic register matches the rest of the site (Hermes-adjacent display type, monospace meta block).

HITL inputs required from author: origin-story copy (1–2 paras), bio + credentials copy, real photo, public link URLs.

See plans/slice-11-build-log.md Phase 2 for full details.

Acceptance criteria

  • /about resolves with HTTPS over ogsfrompoly.com/about
  • Origin story (1–2 paragraphs) renders with the project's actual provenance
  • Author bio with real name, real photo, and credentials relevant to the project's credibility is visible above the fold
  • Partnership-inquiry contact link matches the homepage footer address
  • GitHub, X, and LinkedIn links resolve and load the named author's profile
  • Manual side-by-side review against the homepage confirms aesthetic consistency
  • pnpm types && pnpm test && pnpm lint && pnpm knip all pass in CI

Blocked by

None — can start immediately. Parallel-able with the article spine issue.
