Here I decided to use 4.14 which is the version of my cluster.
git clone cd
I decided to move a release code into main as of this writing main was for ocp 4.16.x which i can't provision anyway.
git fetch --all git checkout release-4.14 git checkout -b new-main-from-4.14 git checkout main git reset --hard release-4.14
git push origin main --force
The above made 4.14 code in main.

fyi im running on mac , so going to make a manifest supporting mulitplatform if youare linx just use podman build
docker buildx build --platform linux/amd64,linux/arm64 -t docker.io//virtualcluster-plugin:latest --push .
use the helm chart its easiest helm upgrade -i virtualcluster-plugin charts/openshift-console-plugin -n operator-virtualcluster --create-namespace --set plugin.image=docker.io//virtualcluster-plugin:latest
for now using a local build of 4.16 and okd the default project from the project template.
not sure how it is caching but i get more success if I don't use :latest will test to see how this works
latest image build also removed arm builds for now
