Weekly study group

Hello everyone :)

Hope this finds you in the best of states...

This is just to get things starting a bit, and go on with our study group...

As per your valuable feedback in the survey form, there is a tie between people preferring a weekly meet up, and those preferring a monthly one; while the majority of the participants in that survey seem to prefer Monday 9:00 am as an optimal meet up time...

Therefore, here is the plan:

1. From now to next Monday, 25/4, at 9:00 Khartoum time we go through the first chapter of the book: 'Bioinformatics Data skills'. ---> This would be a hybrid meeting: Physically, at the lab to meet in person and discuss/share your solutions, and also on line via mconf through the link https://mconf.sanren.ac.za/webconf/study_group
2. We would schedule a monthly session as well, where one of us shares a tutorial that is of value to everyone.. I'm going through the responses, and will keep you posted with other details...
