Plugin ignores 'media' search results

Hey there,

Thanks for the wonderful plugin, great work. There's a major issue for us, as we're trying to implement it in a stock photos like website: Although the search is successful and returns a media item, the dashboard still shows 0 results and the search does not appear in the widget.

The issue might be with our custom search implementation using "&post_type=attachment".

Results with posts, as you would expect, work fine.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I notice another user had similar problem with post_type=product (a custom type). I am sure the fix should be simple if this is the problem. If I have time to look at it I will update appropriately.
