Questhub.io suddenly became a lot slower in Opera 12 about a week ago.

It "feels" like it's the Javascript that's the slow down, not anything in the backend. This is because the browser UI seems to almost lock up while the site is loading.

I've looked at the recent commits and there's no obvious culprit.

Can it be because of https? That was 8 days ago.
I haven't changed anything in JS recently.
(Somehow I didn't receive email notification about this issue, just now accidentally noticed it in news feed)

That may be it. Though other HTTPS-only sites (like github) don't suffer similarly. Could it be your choice of cyphers?
