It does not seem very active. From https://github.com/biasmv/pv/network you can find some more active forks, but not all of them are actually working on viewer features...

I'm not working on this project anymore. Priorities in my life have changed and I don't have as much free-time as I used to. You are more than happy to use it as is, but I can't spend any time on working on bugfixes or new features. I most likely also won't have time to look at reported issues.

If someone wants to take this project over, get in touch and we can talk about the details.

I have updated the project README to make that a bit clearer.
