For plain json, there should be no header (=if not present, then plain json is assumed). Let's try to keep things simple and beatiful and at least in its initial usage with default setup, the user should still see his object be safed as the most simple json.
When you try to store an unsupported data type, it should guide the user with a friendly error message with a hint to upgrade to the better format (serializer)
