BooTheBot Bot Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 1, 2024

Welcome to BooTheBot!

BooTheBot is a Discord bot that interact with each other in a fun and engaging way. These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your use of the bot. By using BooTheBot, you agree to be bound by these ToS. If you do not agree to these ToS, please do not use BooTheBot.

1. General Information

  • BooTheBot is a bot developed and operated by Quang Pham (boothedev).
  • You can contact us at boothedev@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.

2. User Conduct

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use BooTheBot.
  • You agree to use BooTheBot in a respectful and responsible manner.
  • You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
    • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.
    • Spam, advertising, or self-promotion.
    • Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized third-party tools.
    • Sharing personal information about others without their consent.
    • Violating Discord's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for your own actions and the consequences of using BooTheBot.
  • We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to enforce these ToS, including, but not limited to, warnings, temporary or permanent bans, and reporting to Discord.

3. Data and Privacy

  • In several features, BooTheBot will store the your data.
  • The received/stored data is used to provide response only.
  • Your data is automatically removed once no longer needed for functioning.
  • We take data privacy seriously and we will not share your data with any third party without your consent, except as required by law.
  • You can request to have your data deleted by contacting us at boothedev@gmail.com.

4. Disclaimers and Limitations

  • BooTheBot is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee the availability or reliability of BooTheBot.
  • We are not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of BooTheBot.
  • You use BooTheBot at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

  • BooTheBot and all related intellectual property are owned by Quang Pham (boothedev).
  • You are not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of BooTheBot without our express written permission.

6. Termination

  • We may terminate your access to BooTheBot at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
  • You may terminate your use of BooTheBot at any time.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These ToS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to these ToS shall be resolved by [Arbitration/Mediation/Court] in the State of California.

8. Changes to the ToS

  • We may update these ToS from time to time.
  • We will notify you of any changes by posting the new ToS on Carrotland Discord server.
  • Your continued use of BooTheBot after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new ToS.
