Seeking Help with Shift Register and 7-Segment Display Issue

I hope you're doing well. I’ve been working on a project where I’m using two shift registers to control a 4-digit 7-segment display. After wiring everything and writing the code, I noticed an issue: segment A of digit 1 remains always on.

I’ve double-checked the wiring and even consulted some resources, but I haven’t been able to resolve the problem yet. I’m wondering if there might be an issue with the library or the code logic. Could you kindly review your code or provide any insights into what might be causing this behavior?

I've recently had the same issue, and it was due to a misunderstanding on what to input into segmentPins[]. I learned that you are supposed to use the numbering of the output pins for the shift register, and not the actual physical pins on the chip. In my instance, I was using the 74HC595 and mistakenly used "15" for Q0 instead of "0".
