Feature request: more useable or native file picker

It would be great if either 'native' (e.g. I am on KDE, but guess this would apply to other DE / libraries) or at least a bit more usable file picker could be added.

For example it seems that the file picker uses single-click for directories and doesn't have 'bookmarking' or other features which typical.

Possibly consider using (or allowing the option to use) zenity or kdialog?

Fluida supports drag and drop, so you could use any file browser you want and just drop the file into fluida.
The internal file browser use single click because I'm used to use single click in all my file browsers.
You could add a directory to the "Places" by follow the XDG standart, see here:
