Add setting to turn off "SELECT *" on click in explorer to prevent huge bills

It would be nice to be able to turn off the "SELECT *" on click on tables in explorer view. Some of our production tables are extremely large and "SELECT *" may cost considerable amount of money. Workspace setting in .vscode would be a great solution.

Hi @mir , thank you for your message and kind words. For pure tables, the preview is a free feature of bigquery and in practice is not a query. For views, yes, the extensions performs a SELECT *, and I agree with you, it shouldn't. Bad decision there. I will change that ASAP to just open a query window by default.
Your suggestion on making it a setting, makes perfect sense to me.
