[bug] [form builder]: new bug introduced - direction: horizontal style not applied and other glitches - URGENT

the recently published form builder seems to have several glitches.

• direction: horizontal style not applied (radio / checkbox group (did not test others))
• not sure if this is new:
  • changing element properties does not take effect (e.g. switching 4 columns to 1 column) - switching tab/window seems to help - or
  • deleting the currently chosen option of an element property dosen't fully clear the option, it reappears when deleting other related options (variant / directions / columns)

The previous version works correctly, just checked. So the new update seems to break something.

I tried cleaning up the behavior of Direction and Columns property. The direction works, however it is using 1 column as a default value for Horizontal direction as well, which stacks all items in a single column. Changing columns will work as expected.

I am still not satisfied with the whole directions and columns property of the fields and responsive behavior is missing as well. Will prioritize this and think of a clean UX for these two properties.

you mean you fixed it so it works again? If yes would you be so kind to release it on an interim basis until you completely addressed this topic and fixed it to your full satisfaction, as I heavily rely on direction = horizontal, and this currently breaks my layout. 🙏 Thanks a lot in advance.

Can you try Direction - Horizontal and change Columns to more than 1? It should already work. For glitches, i have found the cause, will be fixing it soon.

I tried with all column types (1 to 4), see screenshots (first is 1 column, last 4 columns (even though the dropdown is empty saying to select an option), even done reloading the page. Using the version you committed this night.

Can you try it out and see if the fixes work for you? If not, can you reopen this issue?

direction:horizontal, columns:no selection results in a 2 column layout, which works
direction:horizontal, columns:1 shows items vertically, so at the moment no way to show all items in one line (and breaking / moving to next line if not enough space) (flex-direction / flex-wrap)

I can't reopen the issue.
