Extension for solar application

Hello,

I woud like to use your integration to regulate a micro-inverter (for zero-injection). For this, the setpoint is homogenous to an active power (W) and should belong between let's say [-50,50]W. In another hand, the output is a percent so between 0% up to 100%
Is-it possible to output the error (measure - setpoint) as sensor ?

Wouldn't it be a quick thing to use a template sensor helper to do this?

Yes for using a template sensor is the obvious solution... but to be already defined inside your integration would be extra job less

I added the sensor as a diagnostics sensor, disabled by default.

Can you verify if this works as expected? Use release 1.2.0-beta in HACS
