How to load .d64 files?

Hi, I want to use your engine in my Unity project and I´m able to start and play the three disk-images steelrangerdemo, hessian and mw4. But how can I load and run other .d64 files? The screen always stays black or I get the out of array error. Can you help me please?

You can place more diskimages in the data folder and modify the main program to load the one you want, but you are likely hitting limitations in the emulator. The emulator can only do an autoboot using a CLALL vector after loading the first file from the disk, like those games do. As it stands, this is not really meant to be an all-encompassing emulator, but enough to run the Covert Bitops games so far.

I modified the main program and the game files startet to boot but all failed. Thing is that all the .d64 files look very different to your game files in hex. I just converted them to textfiles and changed the extension to ".bytes" like yours to import them as a diskimage. Did you use a special linux file format or did you converted your files in a special way? I suppose I´ve made a fundamental error because all of the 20 - 30 diskimages didn´t load. :-( Besides that your unity project is a great work and very unique.

The .bytes extension is just for Unity to be able to load the image as binary from the Resources folder. The disk images themselves are unmodified and should also run e.g. on VICE. But I'm not at all surprised that you hit a perfect failure rate, due to the emulator being unable to boot arbitrary programs from arbitrary startaddresses like I explained above.

did you manage to upload the .d64 files if so please tell me how you did it??

maybe you changed the code to be able to load .d64 files. I'm not hiding it depends on how you help me, I'm able to pay, thank you
