[Question] Disable default traces

assuming I would use only my custom traces - is it possible to disable the default ones or limit only to a specific service?

no, you currently cannot disable tracing per service. what is your use case?

brainstorming a bit: you could configure the sampler, but then also custom traces are not exported. or you provide your own exporter and do filtering there.

My case is nothing fancy, pure convenience - less items to filter out etc.
