<p>I worked for years in IT and hardware. I've always loved being involved with what's new and next, and applying that knowledge and skill to creative problem-solving.</p>
<p>I really enjoyed those tasks in my past life that let me work with code or dive into the command line. After some time in self-education, I decided to commit to a career change and pursue development full-time.</p>
<p>In just twelve weeks, I've gained a solid foundation in Ruby and Rails 5, Javascript, and HTML/CSS. I'm continuing to learn and grow that list by finding the best tools for each new problem.</p>
