Copy-Paste Behavior On Niri

This may be a frivolous issue, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to copy text within awrit to use in other terminals or applications.

I'm on Arch/Niri/Ghostty, and it doesn't seem like middle mouse selection or standard things like Ctrl+Shift+C are working. There's mention of copy/paste bindings in #4 but no example ships with awrit. Does anyone have an example?

Any help greatly appreciated, I really like the workflow awrit enables, this is the only hangup.

This does appear to be specific to Niri. I can copy paste within the terminal running awrit but I can't paste the contents to any other windows, or even within the same terminal when exiting awrit.

If I try the same thing on KDE plasma, everything works as expected. No other apps are impacted by this clipboard issue in Niri.

perhaps related, ctrl-shift-c/ctrl-shift-v doesn't work, but middle-click does paste. I'm using kitty on manjaro.
