Migrate from annotations to attributes

Do you have any plans to migrate from annotations to php attributes? If yes, I would love to help to get there.

Absolutely! I'm swamped with paid work and couldn't get to do it.

The plan is to deprecate chimera/mapping and have all attributes in the foundational components.

I'll try to get some time and lay down what I had in mind so you can help out.
