For creating user accounts that could allow individuals to edit their information: Is there a way we could use ORCID for sign-in, and match up names in ORCID to names in DissDB in order to create user accounts? (@jmotis suggested this at a 20260204 meeting). Potential info in Sign in option to your system?
This is about longer-term planning on how we will let people edit their (and others) records, and how we'll ensure they have the appropriate editing permissions without doing anything destructive.
Relatedly, I have a magic link sign-in working but not currently deployed until backend setup is ready.
