xsl.exe: parameter for output?

As far as I see there is no parameter for output. For me it would be helpful - at least a parameter for "overwrite existing / number up new one" (output_1, output_2, or output_20230126155223).

Can you provide more info, what is your XSLT, and what kind of parameter do you want to specify, from the command line, from a second file? Please write a mini-spec, thanks.

I meant that the current configuration is (approx.):
call the exe / call the xml / call the xslt -> create a output

For me I have these challenges:

• my input-file has the extension XTF, and so should the output. But output is always XML, and I have to rename.
• the leads to the second: What to do if the output-file already exists? Overwrite? Skip? Automatic rename-renumber? Ask the user?

Of course there are two use-cases:

• the transformation called inside XMLNotepad. There the configuration could be handled via XMLNotepad.
• the transformation called via command-line. This could be a little bit more tricky ..

In the moment there is no need for a quick solution for me. Let's see if there will be some ideas.
