• ALGORITHMS.md, PROPERTIES.md, and README are updated if public behavior changes
• CHANGELOG.md is updated for behavior changes or notable hardening
• Focused tests pass for all modules in the wave
• Full test suite passes after the wave is complete

Notes

Prefer focused hardening over feature expansion. New features should only be added if the audit reveals a clear missing primitive or an inconsistency that cannot be resolved otherwise.
