By accessing or using Pantry ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- If under 18, have parental consent
- Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must not share your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity on your account
- You must notify us of any unauthorized use immediately
- We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized access
You may use Pantry to:
- Manage your household pantry
- Track grocery lists
- Organize shopping
- Collaborate with household members
You may not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Interfere with App functionality
- Use the App for illegal purposes
- Create fake or misleading content
- You own the content you create
- You grant us a license to store and process your content
- You are responsible for your content's legality
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringes on others' rights
- Contains personal information of others without consent
- Is spam or unsolicited content
- Contains viruses or malicious code
We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
- Pantry and its features are our intellectual property
- The App's design, logos, and marks are our property
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
- You retain ownership of your content
- We only use your content to provide services
- You may create one or more households
- You control household membership
- You set household invite codes
- All members can view household data
- Members can add, edit, and delete items
- Admins have additional management rights
- You may leave a household at any time
- Your content remains in the household
- You can create a new household
- Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy
- We collect and use data as described in the Privacy Policy
- You can export or delete your data at any time
- See Privacy Policy for details
You may delete your account at any time:
- Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Account and data deleted within 30 days
- Some data may be retained for legal reasons
We may terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Harm other users
- Use the App illegally
- Your access is immediately revoked
- Your data is deleted per our retention policy
- No refunds for paid services (if applicable)
We provide the App "as is" and "as available":
- No guarantee of uninterrupted service
- No warranty of error-free operation
- Service may be unavailable for maintenance
We may:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Change service availability
- Update the App with new features
- Provide 30 days' notice for material changes
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any)
- We are not liable for data loss or corruption
- We are not liable for third-party actions
You agree to indemnify us against:
- Claims arising from your use of the App
- Violations of these Terms
- Infringement of others' rights
- Your content or actions
- Contact us first to resolve disputes informally
- Good faith effort to resolve disputes within 30 days
For US users, disputes will be resolved through:
- Binding arbitration under AAA rules
- Individual arbitration only (no class actions)
- Arbitration in your state of residence
- Claims may be brought in small claims court
- Intellectual property claims may be brought in court
- California residents: Arbitration is voluntary
For EU users:
- EU consumer protection laws apply
- You may bring claims in your local courts
- Right to ADR under EU regulations
We may update these Terms:
- Material changes: 30 days' notice
- Minor changes: Effective immediately
- Continued use = acceptance of changes

- Supersedes all prior agreements
- No oral modifications (written only)
- Waivers must be in writing

- Household members are separate users
We are not liable for:

- Translations are for convenience only
- English version governs disputes
