Hey MegFi team,
Jesse from the Prometheus Protocol here. I was checking out the ICP hackathon projects and was really impressed by your comprehensive DeFi architecture that seamlessly integrates chain-key BTC bridging with a full-featured lending and borrowing protocol.
Since you're already deep in canister development, I thought you might find our open-source SDK interesting. It turns any Motoko canister into a standardized API for AI agents to use.
I had a couple of ideas for how this could apply to your project:
- Automated Loan Management: Your loan management features are a perfect candidate for AI automation. You could implement the Prometheus Wrapper Pattern to create a high-level
manage_loan_health tool. An AI agent could then monitor a user's Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio and, with pre-approved allowances, automatically add more ckBTC collateral or repay a portion of the ckUSDC debt by swapping collateral to prevent liquidation. This turns a manual, high-stress process into an automated, agent-managed safety net.
- Natural Language DeFi Operations: The complex actions in your UI—like borrowing, supplying, and repaying—can be simplified into single commands for AI agents. Using the Wrapper Pattern, you could create tools like
borrow_with_collateral or repay_loan_portion. An agent could then execute a user's request like "Borrow $1,000 USDC using my ckBTC" by making a single call. Your wrapper canister would handle the entire orchestration behind the scenes: checking collateral, executing the borrow function, and transferring the funds, making sophisticated DeFi accessible via simple conversation.
If you're interested in building this out, we have a $500 Gold Verified Server Program for high-quality projects. Yours looks like a great fit.
No pressure at all, just a fan of what you're building. Awesome work either way!
Cheers,
Jesse
