Extra Custom Snippets

Application Cache

Light Version:

This easy but powerfull piece of code appeared courtesy to Shwetank Dixit of Dev.Opera (https://github.com/operasoftware/devopera/blob/master/src/articles/_posts/2010-07-01-offline-applications-html5-appcache.md).

GitHub: (https://github.com/codexgq/startbootstrap-creative-codexgq/blob/master/src/custom/js/simple-appcache.js)

Extended Version:

An extended version of the Application Cache based on the original idea of Eric Bidelman of HTML5 Rocks (is now Web Fundamentals) is avalable at GitHub (https://github.com/codexgq/startbootstrap-creative-codexgq/blob/master/src/custom/js/appcache.js).

Include Content

Includes any file content into visual HTML. Based on the W3Schools 'How TO' templates for Include HTML snippets.

Disable Right Click

This is inspired by and based on the Stack Overflow pipeline.

NB: These Custom Snippets are not included in the master version from the box. Please refer to the Docs (https://github.com/codexgq/startbootstrap-creative-codexgq/blob/master/src/custom/mdoc/js.mdoc) for usage.

Icons

All inline SVG icons are Bootstrap Icons (https://icons.getbootstrap.com/).

Shortcuts

Shortcuts icons made by itim2101 (https://www.flaticon.com/authors/itim2101) from Flaticon (https://www.flaticon.com/).

Screenshots

Screenshots are created manually based on the recommendations of PWABuilder (https://www.pwabuilder.com/).

Splashscreens

Splashscreens are made with Appscope (https://appsco.pe/developer/splash-screens) and Human Interface Guidelines by Apple Developer (https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/). We tried to cover most of sizes, ratios, and devices but this is the endless game.

NB: Inline HTML markup for splashscreens doesn't pass though W3C Validation. PWA Manifest doesn't have a splashscreens property. Apple doesn't support PWA functionality in full. So someone has to do something. We believe in common sence.

AppImages

App images for online stores are created with the help of PWABuilder imageGenerator (https://www.pwabuilder.com/imageGenerator) and MakeAppIcon (https://makeappicon.com/).

Official Visualization

For credentials for the official visualization including but not limited to favicons, icons, logotypes, logomarks, snippets, thumbnails, and etc. please refer to the source code of corresponding SVG images on GitHub (https://github.com/codexgq/startbootstrap-creative-codexgq/tree/master/assets).
