[Bug] [KDE] [Nvidia] webview for authentication crash application

Describe the bug
As title

To Reproduce
Must Have

• Kde
• Wayland session
• Nvidia gpu (i have a 3070ti)

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the app for the first time / logout
2. Click on 'Login with HomeServer`
3. White Blank Window
4. Process dies

Additional context
Have same problem with tauri apps and seems related to gtk. I resolve by putting __NV_DISABLE_EXPLICIT_SYNC=1 env.

Fluffy chat doesnt have this problem (i point it up bc is write in flutter as this app)

I have the same problem, I also work with KDE in a Wayland session. Also an Nvidia GPU, 4070 TI

I'm having the same issue, I'm also using KDE with Wayland. RTX 2060 GPU

atleast for logins, this will be fixed in the next release due to #629 but it would be good to figure out why the webview isn't working here as it will be useful for other features

from what i understood, the bug is related to webkit2gtk when using wayland.
That env should disable “explicit synchronization” feature, that improves performance in some cases by allowing the GPU and CPU to work concurrently.

Yep __NV_DISABLE_EXPLICIT_SYNC=1 does fix the issue at the moment

I made a branch which automatically sets this env var, as well as adding some developer options to test out webviews. if anyone would like to test it and confirm if it works that would be super appreciated!
