Given this is actually an ECD, couldn't this be written more easily by adding the "as specified in NNN" to the first selection?

• an MDM agent that is internal to the TOE as specified in FPT_ITT.1/INTER_XFER_AGENT
• an MDM agent that is external to the TOE as specified in FPT_ITT.1/INTER_XFER_AGENT
• a subordinate MDM server as specified in FTP_ITC.1/INTER_XFER_IT
• a primary MDM server as specified in FTP_ITC.1/INTER_XFER_IT
• other components comprising the distributed TOE as specified in FPT_ITT.1/INTER_XFER

If the requirement was written this way, it would be clearly defined what selection has to be chosen including the linkage to the SFR, without the need for complicated app notes. Since this is ECD, this could be done as there is no specific reason to have to follow the original FTP_ITC.1 SFR.

Agreed - updated the SFR to remove the second assignment and just incorporated the SFRs into the selection as refinements so we can eliminate most of the app note.
