  "description": "The Consortium for the Early Identification of Alzheimer’s Disease - Québec (CIMA-Q) data and biological samples Bank is a structured collection of results from clinical, neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric tests and evaluations, as well as biological samples from adults in good health or with impaired cognition (subjective cognitive impairment, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease). \nThe CIMA-Q cohort is a longitudinal, multicentric, multifactorial and intersectorial study of more than 400 participants of 65 years old and older. The general objective of the CIMA-Q Bank is to support the achievement of research projects and the implementation of research collaborations targeting the identification of methods enabling an earlier diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and its associated cognitive impairments, a greater understanding of related mechanisms, and the development of therapeutic approaches, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to slow, cease, compensate or reverse the effects of the disease and its associated impairments. The Bank offers to Consortium member researchers, a platform for conducting various research projects on Alzheimer’s Disease, related disorders, and diseases associated with aging and cognition.\n",
