Is there a way to forward Wayland/X11 to the krunvm Virtual Machine?

It should be possible based off what I've seen on the asahi-krun project which you can find (here)[https://sinrega.org/2023-10-06-using-microvms-for-gaming-on-fedora-asahi/]
The only issue is right now I have no idea yet how it's being implemented and whether this only works for DRM native context or can also be used in "general purpose scenarios" without GPU acceleration.
A feedback from the author would be awesome.
