1. A job posting that would require skills from this class would be a sports product designer. Designing precision athletic equipment requires the ability to prototype, as well as the ability to perform dynamics calculations to determine how the gear will perform under stress.

2. I miss being able to travel during the summer.

   The Pythagorean theorem is definitely one of the simpler formulas, but is still very powerful in statics and dynamics when accounting for the magnitudes of various forces acting on an object. It allows us to determine an unknown side length of a right triangle when we know the other two sides.

1. A job that requires this class is bridge building and design. Large spanning bridges sway slightly in the wind, and while bridges should not move, the wind loads cause them to sway. This movement causes a dynamic moment onto the supports of the bridge, and this dynamic moment will be learned about in this class.

   This equation is used all of the time in physics. It describes the mass and acceleration of an object, and how it relates to its force. This acceleration can be dynamic as we will see in this class, and we can have 0 acceleration, meaning an object is not in motion. I would use this to determine what forces are being created from dynamic movements.

1. A job that requires this class may be the design of prosthetics to ensure the product can withstand the force the body may exert on it. A prosthetic especially one for the lower limbs must support the body's weight which can be calculated using methods learned in this class. In addition, power is important if someone needs a prosthetic for athletics.

   This equation represents power which equals work over the change in time. This equation may be used in this class because it relates to power, energy, and momentum.

1. An Automotive Engineer needs a strong background in dynamics because they have to understand how forces and motions interact within a vehicle's systems. Suspension, steering, and braking systems all are important in the dynamics realm.

   Newtons second law describes the relationship between an object's mass, its acceleration, and the resulting force. In this class I assume we will often use it because it is fundamental.

1. Understanding properties and behaviors of materials under stress is imperative for all mechanical engineers to know. Ideally that skill would be highlighted in job listing for the time of work I'd like to do.

1. A job posting that require skills utilized and taught in this class is biomedical engineering, more specifically biomechanics, as that involves working with prosthetics. With prosthetics, a biomedical engineer basically needs to replicate the limb that the device is replacing so basically they must replicate the motion and degree of flexibility of a human limb into the mechanical limb they are working on to make it as realistic and useful as possible.

A job that requires skills that are taught in this class is a job posted by Stoke Space, "Propulsion Engineer." The design of propulsion elements of a fully reusable launch vehicle is a topic that absolutely requires what is discussed in the material of this class.

A thing I miss from the summer is my internship. I felt like I was learning really useful things every day, and I really enjoyed working with the people there.
