v2.4.0 `crossplane resource validate` raises manifest unknown error

What happened?

crossplane resource validate outputs the following error:

schemas does not exist, downloading:  http://xpkg.crossplane.io/crossplane/crossplane:v2.4.0
crossplane: error: cannot download and load cache: cannot cache package dependencies: cannot download package xpkg.crossplane.io/crossplane/crossplane:v2.4.0: cannot get config: reading image "xpkg.crossplane.io/crossplane/crossplane:v2.4.0": GET https://xpkg.crossplane.io/v2/crossplane/crossplane/manifests/v2.4.0: MANIFEST_UNKNOWN: manifest unknown

How can we reproduce it?

Run crossplane resource validate xrd.yaml xr.yaml

What environment did it happen in?

• Crossplane CLI version: 2.4.0
• Platform (e.g., linux/amd64): MacOS
• Crossplane version (if applicable): N/A

@J-Afzal Thanks for reporting this! This issue is due to our CLI version diverging from upstream - validate assumes there's always a matching Crossplane core release for the CLI version. I'll have a fix up shortly.

As a workaround, you can specify --crossplane-image=xpkg.crossplane.io/crossplane/crossplane:v2.3.3 (or any other existing version) to override the default.
