Colon needs to be raised with lining numbers. Look:
In the first example (18:30-19:00 h), colon are too low or aligned with the baseline, because they match very well with lowercases. In the second example (19:00-19:30 h), they are raised because don't match very well with uppercases. We need a new macro in typog package (\raisecolon or whatever). I'm using Adobe MinionPro font (FontPro Project) with oldstyle figures (default) with PDFTeX engine. The tip is useful only when lining numbers or uppercases are typeset in a single text line.
