Problems with latest Basix skin

A few issues when using the latest version of the Basix skin

The elastic search results section is located over the search bar, so you can’t see your search query anymore (when you mistype for example). It needs to move down so the first item is below the search box as it is in Foundation

The elastic search box does not show up at all on mobile phones in portrait mode and works very strangely in landscape mode

I have reported this before and my clients insist that ‘add to basket’ from category pages was part of the standard Basix skin before adopted by CubeCart ?

If there is no category description, it shows a bold red rectangle

The ‘help’, captcha AND arrow (to go up) - all 3 in the same spot and on top of each other (bottom right) - see screenshot

Yes getting ES formatted and working correctly is key.

I have used the setting in the skin config file to move the Google reCaptcha to the left hand side which actually helps quite a lot. The "Help" is from the CubeCart Zendesk plugin - if the up arrow could be moved up a bit then it will be fine

Can I just ask you to take another look at these issues please?

ES:

• it is located OVER the search bar, so you can’t see your search query anymore (when you mistype for example). It needs to move down or to the right...
• The elastic search does not show up on a mobile phone, only if you move the phone horizontally
• It does work on the iPad but difficult to get ‘out of’ (you need to reload the page) -> there is no ESC button on an Ipad...

Being able to add products directly to the basket from the home (latest products) & category page: in the old version you were able to just add the products directly in the basket without having to click the product first.

For the help button, it's the Zendesk plugin. The arrow 'up' just needs to be moved up a little bit.

And If there is no category description, it shows a bold red rectangle.

The bold red rectangle is not just when there's no category description, so now I don't know why it's there sometimes and not all the time:

Could you please confirm the following points:

• Has ES on mobile devices been fixed and is it now working correctly?

• Could you let me know how users can exit the ES search when using a mobile device?

• Do you know what is causing the red box that appears on this page:

• Is it possible to add products to the basket directly from the Homepage (latest products section) and from category pages? This works standard in Foundation and was also working in previous versions of Basix, but has now disappeared :-(

Sorry I'm encountering another issue...

Because the 'view all' button/function was removed, we are adding many sub sub categories.
Now when you use an iPad, the subcategories go 'off' screen. It also happens when you use an iphone and use it sidewards.
I can give an example on our website if needed.

On the desktop it's fine as the screen is much bigger (I don't know what happens if you have a small screen though, I only have big ones ;) ).

You can slide the whole to the left so that you see the subcategories, but as our customer base is older and not tech savvy, they will surely give up before doing that :-( .

Anything you can do about that as lots of people now buy from mobile devices?

I've deep dived this. The basix skin never had an add to basket on the latest items. I've made quite a few fixes I'll share shortly.

Can you add this into the skin as a default colour and add the relevant code into the config.xml file ?

Also I think the skin version variable in config.xml should be set to 1.14 ?

Can you also set the default for recaptcha_badge_position to bottomleft as bottonright conflicts as mentioned previously
